Job Description
The GEICO Service Center Technology Services Department is seeking a highly motivated individual who can work in a team environment, has excellent communication skills (oral and written), and an inclination for problem solving and customer service to join the team as a Tech Services Associate.
As a Service Center Tech Services Associate, you will support internal business and GEICO Tech customers by responding to phone and ticket requests, perform various operation functions, and support projects as needed. You will be expected to work on tasks that are low to medium in complexity with support and guidance.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Experience with ITSM systems, such as Helix ITSM (formerly called Remedy) to track and manage incidents
  • Ability to comprehend and follow documented guidelines & procedures
  • Professional telephone etiquette and the ability to deal effectively with end users, peers, and management under stressful conditions
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to organize and prioritize several tasks at a time
  • Must be comfortable working on the phones to assist internal customers and end users
  • 2 or more years of relevant Information Technology (IT) experience
Desired Qualifications:
Experience in any or all of the following is highly desirable:
  • PowerShell Scripting Skills
  • Security group management
  • Workforce Management experience is a plus
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or in a related technical field (or equivalent education or work experience)

Annual Salary
$63,000.00 - $113,000.00
The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
