Team Lead (Logistics) – Swing Shift – (M-Th 3:30 Pm To 2:00 Am)

Starting Pay Rate: $36.19/hr + $1.35 Shift Differential

The Team Lead is responsible for ensuring the department adheres to and meets all safety and quality standards, as well as cost and performance goals during their shift. This includes ownership for the development of all team members, coordinating appropriate staffing to balance business needs with cost targets, successful execution of daily operations, and maintenance for area equipment. The Team Lead will work autonomously and flow to the highest priority work, collaborate across department boundaries, participate in team-based activities, and ensure compliance with all plant procedures, policies, and standards.

This position is considered a safety-sensitive position, meaning, a lapse of attention could adversely affect the safety of others by resulting in injury, illness, or death, including without limitation a position that includes the operating, repairing, maintaining, or monitoring of heavy equipment, machinery, or operation motorized vehicle.

• Involved in Equipment Owner’s roles & responsibilities
• May Serve on an ‘Area of Excellence Team, part of TRACC
• Ensuring quality checks and audits are complete and accurate
• Communication with all team members on all shifts is key
• Provide leadership to a team of warehouse workers and other logistics staff who handle storage, shipping, receiving, and other operations
• Ensure Safe behavior is conducted by yourself and those around you by ensuring a high level of employee training and development through coaching
• Identify and implement process improvements
• Being proactive: efficient with time management
• Oversee finished goods cycle counts and inventory control processes
• Cross training team members to ensure balanced work loads with the Logistics team
• Ability to manage your team from a schedule and task standpoint
• Ensure raw and packaging materials are organized and available for Production

• Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), SAP (preferred) SharePoint, and other applications

• Must at least be in a current level three position (internal candidates only)

• Minimum of twelve (12) months in your current department and have a minimum of six (6) months in your current position after skill block is sign-off. If not signed off within the department the twelve (12) months criteria is the only criteria that must be met.

• Shift Transfers must meet twelve (12) months in the department and shift. Some exceptions will be made based on the needs of the business.
