Tasting Room Associate Jobs

Join the team at R Five Wines! We are looking for tasting room staff to join our small, family owned and operated winery. R Five Wines produces Sonoma wines and has a tasting room in Downingtown, PA. We’ve been producing wine in Sonoma since 2009, and R Five Wines opened the tasting room in August 2021. Our team is small, social, and a part of our extended family. Full-time or part time positions available. We are flexible and can support someone who wants to work any number of shifts per week. We are open Thurs 4-9pm, Fri 4-10, Sat 1-9pm and Sun 1-5pm. Duties include but not limited to:

• Serve wine and food
• Prep for service (Se t tables, buff glasses and silverware, stock wines)
• Greet customers

Pay: $10 per hour plus tips. With tips, staff average $25-$50/hour

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Excellent customer service skills, enthusiastic and passionate
• Knowledge of wine and winemaking. WSET or previous tasting room experience preferred.
• Passionate about wine and learning about wine
• Additional experience and skill in tasting rooms/wineries can all result in expanded hours and compensation.
• Ability to multitask, managing multiple tables and guests
• English-speaking
• Must be able to lift and carry 25 lbs, and be on your feet during a shift
