Job Description

The Talent & Learning Content Administrator supports the organization and management of learning content assets to be used in a variety of training products delivered in multiple modalities. This role is responsible to catalogue content modules in a Learning Content Management System (LCMS or equivalent) and ensure proper versioning, usage/application, and searchability is current. This role contributes to defining best practices for content element storage, research and usage tracking, and usage to ensure portability of content into a variety of delivery modalities. This role is responsible for identify and assigning learning program content as part of PJI’s learning strategy to support achieving business objectives. This role will also be responsible for assisting with talent management, assessment, and engagement survey content in the corresponding HR systems.


Duties and Responsibilities


  • Assist will reporting, configuration, and troubleshooting of all talent management systems including performance management, engagement survey, and assessments.
  • Apply knowledge of current learning models and adult learning theory to assist those in search of content for learning programs
  • Conduct training and on-boarding as needed for technology tools and departmental templates and file processes
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for user experience, catalogue management, and tracking; create and update internal process documents based on departmental needs
  • Compile and send resource communication with all new and updated assets/elements to the team; program launches, and updates; create and maintain a “resource of the month” newsletter to highlight new learning assets
  • Manage the content storage aspects of the LMS and/or LCMS, including the definition and application of content use and best practices, contributing to ongoing system improvements, coordinating resolution of system issues, generating reports, and assisting learners with troubleshooting issues in accessing learning resources
  • Create and manage updates for templates in style guide as well as copyedit and format all content submitted against standard
  • Create and distribute reports to stakeholders on learning asset research, usage, application, shelf-life/version, etc.


Education, Experience & Certifications


  • 1-3 years of experience in learning/training, Instructional Design, or related roles
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
