Job Description
  • Ensures proper game security.
  • Always appears alert and faces forward.
  • Accurately takes guest bets, pays out bets and makes change for guests.
  • Maintains a game pace that is consistent with the table action.
  • Demonstrates proficient knowledge of gaming policies and procedures.
  • Consistently keeps shuffle time at 2 minutes or less.
  • Alerts the Floor Supervisor of any suspected irregularities on the game. Never corrects own mistakes.
  • Consistently reflects a friendly, positive and constructive approach to the game, the department, and the company. Maintains enthusiasm regardless of pit or game assignment.
  • Maintains familiarity with all novelty game procedures.
  • Always attends mandatory meetings.

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Must have Black Jack training or experience. Two (2) years dealing in a commercial casino environment preferred and/or accreditation from professional gaming school (preferable TS Dealer School).
  • Must possess mathematical ability; counts card, pays out bets, makes change.
  • Marginal ability to read is required; standard forms, documentation, etc.
  • Ability to speak and understand the English language; must continuously communicate with a degree of professionalism and accuracy. Constant interaction with guests.
  • Written communication skills frequently utilized; standard forms, documentation, etc.
  • Must be able to operate a shuffler.
  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
