The Opportunity with Edo

We are looking for a Systems Integration Engineer to join our growing Edo team located in Spokane. In this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and maintain data feeds for all clients – including BAS, utility, AMI, and API based data feeds.
  • Respond to and manage requests for data feed design and implementation as well as data classification, bug fixes and upgrades to tools.
  • Develop solutions to connect to clients heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), advanced metering infrastructure (AMI), lighting / plug load controls, distributed energy resources (DER) and web based application programming interfaces (API’s)
  • Manage, audit, and correct collected data in a structured database
  • Manage time effectively across several different projects.
  • Track project schedules and deliverables.
  • Classify and validate time-series data sets.
  • Work with IT staff to access client’s IT network and develop solutions to collect data from onsite operational technology (OT) that run on the clients IT network.
  • Analyze meter and building operational data using advanced fault detection and diagnostics to identify low cost operational improvements.
  • Access building automation systems to extract building operational data.
  • Coordinate and launch data acquisition hardware for discovery, mapping, classification and trending of building data.
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Provide input on best practices and lessons learned to improve operational practices.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in technical writing.
  • Defines project scope and intent.

What we would like to see from you:

  • Intermediate knowledge of programming in Python, PHP and SQL preferred.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite -Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required; working knowledge of SharePoint preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in architectural engineering, mechanical engineering or related field, or equivalent professional experience required.
  • Experience designing, programming and troubleshooting a variety of building automation systems such as Niagara, Johnson Controls, Alerton, Siemens, etc, preferred
  • Experience with Project Haystack, Brick, Google Digital Buildings projector other building data classification methods preferred.
  • 5+years’experience with building automation systems, DDC, BACnet, Modbus, IoT, and IT network topology required.

The pay range for this position is $71,000- $104,300 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. Base pay information is based on market location.
