numberofdifferentprojectsthatvaryinscope,design,andfunction.AstheSystemsEngineer,youwillwork

onaprojectteamtoexecuteallengineeringanddesigndeliverablesvariousETOpressurevessel

projects.

KeyContributions:

∙Provideinformationthroughoutthevariousproposal,engineeringandfabricationphasestothe

estimatingandprojectteamsregardingallaspectsofSystemsEngineering.

∙DevelopproposalandprojectspecificspecificationsforthepreparationofP&ID’sandthesupervision

oftheinstallationoftheprojectP&IDdatabase,suchasnumbering,tagging,graphicalsymbols,etc.

∙Supportthesalesteam(whenrequested)indiscussionoftechnicaldetailswiththeBusiness

Developmentteamand/orclient

∙DevelopandupdateP&IDsfortheentirefacilityforproposalsthroughoutprojectexecution,including:

• LinesizesforalllinesshownontheP&IDs
• Logicdiagramsandcause&effectchartsforthefacility
• Hydrauliccalculationsforalllines,includingpumpNPSHandthermosiphonreboilers
• Processdatasheetsforutilityequipment
• Linelists,includingtestingofpiping
• Processrequirementsforallinstruments
• Alarm&SetpointList

∙PrepareOperatingManual,OperatorTrainingPresentation,andPre-Commissioningand

CommissioningPlans

∙ReviewandcommentonpackagedequipmentP&ID’sincludingthevendorlogicdiagramsandcause&

effectcharts.

∙Reviewequipmentdrawingsregardingprocessrelevantaspects,participateinthemodelreviewsofthe

plant,andperiodicallyparticipateinHAZOPmeetings.

∙ProvidetechnicaldirectionandexpertisetoProjectEngineering/manufacturingforworkinprocess.

∙Providedesignandsizingofcontrolandsafetyreliefvalves.

∙Assistinstart-up,commissioning,andperformancetesting,asrequired.

∙Performfieldtroubleshooting,asrequired.

∙Periodiccustomercontactisrequired.Lessthan25%travelisrequired.

Requirements

∙ABachelor’sDegreeinChemical,PetroleumorMechanicalEngineeringorequivalentengineering

disciplineisrequired,withamaster’sdegreepreferredbutnotrequired.

∙Aminimumof5yearsenergyindustryexperience;3yearsofwhichareinprocessplants,ispreferred

butnotrequired.

∙ExcellenttechnicalproficiencywithprocesssimulatorssuchasProMax,HYSYS,Symmetry,etc.,and

advancedlevelskillswithMicrosoftOfficesoftwareincludingExcelisrequired.

∙Theabilitytoworkwithminimalsupervisionandprioritizeworkloadtomeetduedatesisrequired.

∙Effectiveanalyticalandproblem-solvingskillsandadetailorientatedapproach,whileremaining

creativeandinnovative,arerequired.

∙Proficiencyineffectivelycommunicatingprocessconceptstobothinternalandexternalcustomersis

required.
