Job Purpose: Cyber Range Automation

Our core area of expertise is the development and management of cyber range capabilities, implementation of policies, processes and tools required to conduct cyber assessments and cyber range automation. Circadence has spent more than a decade working with the Joint Information Operations Range (JIOR) and Joint Mission Environment Test Capability (JMETC) Multiple Independent Levels of Security (MILS) Network (JMN), building cyber ranges and participating in cyber T&E, exercises, and training events. JMN is part of the National Cyber Range Complex (NCRC). Research and development programs focus on tools and services to enhance cyber operations.

Ansible Automation Engineer- is responsible for developing playbooks and roles to configure VMware ESX and ESXi virtual/cloud hypervisor environments, application deployment, intra-service orchestration, and many other IT needs. This is an opportunity to join a passionate and dynamic team developing virtual cyber ranges for DoD and Federal Government customers. Provide technical support to JMN Operations concerning infrastructure automation solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev, test, and production environments. Administer Ansible infrastructure, perform maintenance and configuration and provide SME level support. Update system and process documentation and user guides as needed diagrams and SOPs as needed. Work collaboratively with the engineering team to create and deploy Ansible solutions for a distributed data center infrastructure environment. Support automation of business processes and software deployment/configuration through a variety of frameworks, development languages and tools (python/ java script /bash, etc.)

Required

  • 4+ years Windows and Linux vulnerability management
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent years of experience In lieu of degree
  • Knowledge of WinRM and SSH
  • Current or previous government contract experience
  • 4+ years’ experience in creating and deploying Ansible frameworks and playbooks.
  • Cybersecurity knowledge a plus
  • A self-motivated, proactive, results-oriented individual. Able to manage multiple competing priorities effectively
  • 4+ years Python scripting and automation
  • Excellent knowledge of Linux technologies
  • Dell, NetApp and Cisco Infrastructure familiarity
  • Must be located at or near Tupelo, MS or Huntsville, AL; or be willing to relocate
  • 4+ years YAML Development/Ansible automations
  • Have at least 1 year of experience in software development.
  • 4+ years DevOps/pipeline automation experience
  • Previous Experience with "patching and vulnerability remediation" is plus
  • US Citizen/US Resident required. Ability to obtain a security clearance is required. Existing US Government security clearance a plus.
  • Understanding of network fundamentals, APIs and HTTP protocol
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, team oriented environment
  • 4+ years’ experience managing configuration, build and deployments for enterprise software solutions.
  • Experience using applications such as: Jira, GitHub
