Job Description

Work Mode: Hybrid

Location: Kohler, WI

Opportunity

Provide a high level of service to all Hospitality and Real Estate Associates. Design, implement and maintain computer systems and applications to maintian business effectiveness, troubleshoot and resolve incidents and create innovative opportunities to assist in achievement of business goals. Prepare systems and applicaitons specifications, test criteria, project control and management reporting. Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and make recommendations toward implementing those improvements.

The candidate for this position exhibits strong diverse technical systems skills and a solid knowledge of business processes in multiple areas. They are detail oriented in work and analysis and produce high-quality results in support of team and department initiatives. Actively listens to customers and project team peers while challenging obsolete practices and non value-added processes.


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain problem-resolution documentation and software installation SOPs in the company’s knowledge management system.
  • Assist or solely direct, schedule, coordinate, and evaluate the efforts of IT user and vendor personnel assigned to a specific systems project. Negotiate business solutions that satisfy requirements and deliver business value while ensuring consistency with architectural guidelines and security standard
  • Provide spirited, positive participation in systems projects. Challenge obsolete practices; question accepted truths. Develop practical systems scope that enhances the business function. Control the project scope, resources, and quality within budget and schedule to meet objectives.
  • Share after-hours support responsibility with the other members of the Hospitality Systems department.
  • Coordinate and manage the installation, upgrades, and maintenance of system applications. Conduct technical research on system upgrades to determine feasibility, cost, time required, and compatibility with current systems.
  • Participate in educational programs, professional organizations and industry events to enhance analytical and leadership skills while developing relationships with vendor partners and industry colleagues.
  • Provide inputs for project review meetings and management presentations, including general design review, project scheduling, test plan, system and program tactics and methods, system controls, procedures, documentation, and system implementation plan.
  • Achieve and maintain proficiency that enables on-call support of all H&RE systems.
  • Analyze and resolve hardware, software and connectivity problems for all H&RE applications. Coordinate support services through internal and external technical resources as necessary.
  • Participate in weekly Hospitality Systems department meetings to discuss progress on projects and outstanding issues.
  • Provide analysis, counsel, and direction to management and personnel of Hospitality businesses to analyze problems and develop solutions, as well as assure efficient operation of existing systems and/or programs. Maintain an understanding of business processes and the implications of computer systems on these processes.

Skills/Requirements

  • 1-3 years systems analysis and/or project management experience. #LI-Hybrid #LI-SC2
  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology or related field preferred. Under some circumstances Associate Degree in Information Technology and minimum 5 years experience will be accepted.

The salary range for this position is $77,400 - $97,800. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
