The Role

As a Systems Analyst, you will play a key role on a Scrum team and within Digital Platforms Technology. Working closely with the Squad Lead, Business Analyst, Scrum Leader, Software Engineers and Quality Engineers, you will help to craft, build, test, and deliver the features that make up Fidelity’s Digital experiences that are designed to delight our customers, anticipate their needs and match services or solutions to support effective decision making.


The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • 2+ years of systems analysis experience; a focus in financial services applications is a plus
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency in writing supporting documentation including product guides, business process diagrams and/or system workflows
  • Asks exploratory questions to uncover hidden or un-identified use cases and requirements
  • Proactive, organized, highly responsive and committed to quality
  • Confidence to convey technical concepts, capabilities and needs to team members, product owners and other internal partners
  • Ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner
  • BS/BA Degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Robust critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Ability to triage system defects in all environments
  • Learns quickly and work through ambiguous situations
  • Applies a long-term mentality to help produce scalable and maintainable solutions
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Your familiarity with the following will be a plus:

  • Experience with Jira and Confluence
  • Ability to perform technical analysis of sophisticated Web application development concepts
  • Experience with database query tools / Strong SQL skills
  • An understanding of the Agile software development methodology
  • Working understanding of QA automation
