Job Description
  • GIAC Certified Penetration Tester (GPEN)
  • Tier One Technologies is seeking a Systems Analyst specializing in Vulnerability Management & Assessments (VMA).
  • The resource will be supporting Penetration Testing (PEN) and will be working with the RISK (VMA) Team and will be responsible for working in a team environment to conduct research/analysis of current and emerging Cyber Threats.
  • Offensive Security Certified Professional (OCSP)
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • May provide supervisory, technical, and administrative direction for personnel performing system development tasks, including the review of work products for correctness, adherence to the design concept and to user standards, and for progress in accordance with schedules.
  • 3 years of experience with project or process management.
  • Must be highly skilled in web application testing, API testing, and network testing.
  • Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC)
  • Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States within the last 5 years. Military Service excluded.
  • Must be able to obtain a sensitive clearance – Position of Public Trust.
  • Will define requirements, test concepts, test equipment, develop data collection requirements for tests.
  • Experience with tools such as Metasploit Pro and Cobalt Strike for red team operations.
  • Experience with Purple Team engagements to test monitoring controls in coordination with engineering teams and CSOC teams.
  • Experience with Red Team engagements from planning to execution.
  • CompTIA Security +
  • 3 years of experience in information systems programming.
  • Experience with Kali Linux and most of the tools available in the distro for penetration testing.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Information Security (Master’s Degree preferred).
  • Candidate must have lived in the United States for the past 5 years.
  • Work closely with Penetration Testing and Risk teams.
  • CPTE - Certified Penetration Testing Engineer or CEH - Certified Ethical Hacker
  • Proficiency in scripting, such as Python and/or Powershell.
  • 3 years of experience in systems specification or structured analysis.
  • This on-site position can be located in Falls Church, VA or Eagan, MN or Morrisville, NC.
  • Will define requirements, test concepts, test equipment, develop data collection requirements for tests.
  • Experience with phishing network users to gain access for lateral movement on the network.
  • GIAC Web Application Penetration Tester (GWAPT)
  • Experience with Penetration Testing supporting PCI-DSS.
  • Familiar with OWASP Application Security Verification Standard (ASVS) and MITRE ATT&CK framework.
  • GIAC Exploit Researcher and Advanced Penetration Tester (GXPN).
  • Penetration testing certification recommended. Acceptable certifications
  • SELECTED CANDIDATES WITHOUT REQUIRED CLEARANCE WILL BE SUBJECT TO A FEDERAL GOVERNMENT BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION TO RECEIVE IT.
  • Certifications (one or more required)
  • 4 years related work experience or eight years related work experience post high school.
  • The candidate will be responsible for working in a team environment to conduct research/analysis of current and emerging Cyber Threats.
  • All candidates must be a US Citizen or have permanent residence status (Green Card).
  • Formulate statements of management, scientific and business problems, and devises procedures for solutions of problems.
  • Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP)
  • Technical writing skills, along with ease in communicating concepts related to security vulnerabilities and attack path scenarios.
  • Prior experience working with Burp Suite Professional, or other similar DAST tools.
