Our client is a world-leading company in new energy industry.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead the development of high voltage battery pack system hardware with full understanding of battery electrical architectures and mechanical system integration.
2. Support the definition and execution of: functional requirements, system boundaries, component & subsystem interface, electrical component sizing and performance tracking.
3. Communicate with customers to acquire and manage customer requirements, and breakdown to internal development target. Coordinate with internal teams to lead the product development
4. Solve engineering issues during development and manage the development in various area, including mechanical/structure design and test & validations and failure analysis from cell level to battery pack level. Communicate with customers to update progress, and negotiate between internal teams and customers.
5. Provide technical guidance to quality and reliability engineering and assist with SFMEA/DFMEA activities.
6. Works on specific phases or aspects of projects such as technical studies, new project acquisition, preparation of specifications, technical plans, HV battery system hardware and component development and testing, data analysis and validation.
7. Supports/ensures data quality and writes technical project reports.
8. Reviews project for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, and customer requirements, including opinions and interpretations.
Qualifications:
- Adept in data processing and statistical analysis; particularly with lithium-ion cell test data. Educated on common lithium-ion cell, module, and battery pack test certifications. Familiar with vehicle product development process. Knowledge in one or more of the following areas would be beneficial: Electronic controller hardware specifying and developing/sourcing; automotive CAN architecture, Powertrain integration to vehicle / chassis development and production release.
- Good project communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- 2+ Years Working Experience in related areas preferred.
- Fluent English to work with multi-national team smoothly
