System Administrator I Jobs

Join our IST team! We are currently hiring for a Systems Admin I position. They will offer tier 1 support, with potential for responsibility and skills growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with tiers 2 and 3 support to resolve computer related issues. Assists in maintaining networked systems and services and ensures service levels are sustained between 7 Cedars Resorts properties and its users.

System installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and administration are the core functions of this position. The successful candidate will manage systems and provide appropriate support to resolve identified problems, capture systems requirements, and follow through on change requests.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Maintain strict confidentiality in areas indicated by law and organizational policies.
• Must follow all safety rules and regulations.
• Follow all policies and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Core technologies supported: Microsoft Office, Windows, Linux, VMware, and Cisco.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Administer and Non-Gaming systems, networking and cabling.
• Perform problem resolution and provide on-call support for computer/network systems.
• Collaborate with other departments, organizations, and IT staff for task resolution.
• Provide support to 7 Cedars Resort end users and properties.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Working knowledge of local and wide area networks (LAN/WAN), internetworking, e-mail systems, telecommunications and data communications.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of computer networking systems and languages to include Linux, Windows, and VMware.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel, as well as provide necessary training.
• Associate Degree in Computer Science or similar.
• One to three years of professional information technology experience or related field.

Pay: $48,000.00 - $59,296.05 per year
