Job Title: Security Officer - Swing
Patrol Zone Meeting Location: Washington D.C
Environment: Commercial Bank
Pay Rate: $27.00 / HR
Shift & Hours: 40 hours per week. Saturday through Tuesday. 3:30pm to 12:00am (1530-0000)
**A minimum 3 years of Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience is required**
General Job Functions: Deployable officer assigned to a 1-2 person patrol team who's coverage area includes multiple bank branches in the Mid Atlantic patrol zone. Each day the deployable officer is dropped off and stationed at a different bank branch in the Mid Atlantic patrol zone by their patrol team. At the close of an officer's shift they are picked up by the patrol team to report incidents and findings from the day.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Responsibilities specific to this client site include, but are not limited to:

• Be able to lift packages and boxes up to 75 pounds in weight with or without reasonable accommodation
• Responds to incidents of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, flooding, water discharge, elevator emergency, hazardous materials, inclement weather, and other incidents.
• Have open availability to work additional hours if needed.
• Patrols assigned site on foot; checks for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons.
• Makes periodic patrols to check for irregularities and to inspect protection devices and fire control equipment.
• Prepares logs and reports as required.
• Protects evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.
• Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises.
• Controls access to client site or facility through the admittance process.

QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications specific to this client site include, but are not limited to:

• High School Education or higher is required
• Strong customer service skills
• A minimum 3 years of Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience is required.
• Candidate must be 21 years or older
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are needed to write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• DC Security Officer License required
• A Valid Drivers License is required
• Must be tech savvy and able to operate a work phone.
• Willing to work flexible hours & days, including holidays and weekends
• Patrolling hospitals, school campuses or security floater experience strongly preferred
• Must have a clean driving record and pass criminal background check and drug testing.
