Svp Supply Chain - Interim

Eton Bridge Partners is delighted to be working with a reputable and ambitious retail company on an interim SVP Supply Chain role, based near California.

Following a number of acquisitions, the organisation has a new CEO and leadership team, has grown considerably and has investment to continue with significant growth in North America and Canada over the next 3 years.

They operate more than 300 stores offering unique retail experiences across a diverse portfolio of stores which include news and gift stores and accessories under various well-known brands.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you’d be responsible for a team of c.150 supply chain staff across end to end supply chain operations, and with a view to transform the function.

The key priorities currently are to:

• Design and implement a revised supply chain strategy to support the growth ambitions of the business
• Focus on last mile and getting it right. As the organisation grows, so does the need to get product directly to store in a timely fashion and at the right cost base, with minimum impact on the environment
• Potentially look at the use of technology and make enhancements in that space
• Stabilise the team after a rocky period with lots of change
• Recruit a permanent replacement to continue the activity
• Ensure the supply chain leadership team are performing; coach, guide, performance manage and lead by example to enhance performance where needed

The successful candidate would be:

• Experienced at SVP or EVP level in global supply chain retail environments
• Au fait with working closely with the Board and CEO to offer your expertise, advice and guidance on supply chain operations and strategy
• Driven to achieve the broader objectives of the business and to take ownership of all supply chain activity within that
• A US citizen and therefore able to be based in Nevada 5 days a week for at least 6 months
• Consultative, yet hands on when needed
• Experienced in fast paced, high growth environments and able to work under pressure
• Strategic, commercial, delivery focused, transparent and pragmatic
