Description:

Interim AVP Supply Chain (Interim Resource) will work with Client team and workload management to meet operational goals and Client's expectations.

Specific duties of the Interim Resource will include, but are not limited to:

On-site, day-to-day workload management of Member's Supply Chain procurement team.

Identification of current customer requests and new requests including type of procurement (authorized requisition, RFP, RFQ, contract negotiation, local agreement or state procurement) to be documented in your system.

Prioritization of workload for the procurement team utilizing contract expiration dates, request date, critical impact to organization, etc.

Allocation of workload among buyers based on bandwidth and competency to improve current team morale and engagement.

Conduct an in-depth evaluation and inventory of current projects and procurements in the queue to determine prioritization and projected completion timeline.

Establish a strategic sourcing work plan to begin proactively managing and addressing expiring agreements and new contract opportunities.

Provide weekly status updates to CFO for project transparency and awareness.

Address customer concerns and communications for procurement team.

1. Create a strategic sourcing roadmap with milestones and targeted savings goals. Interim Resource will leverage Client's Supply Chain analytic tools to address savings opportunities by product spend category.
