Job Description
AeroFarms is offering a Sustainability & Impact Fellowship, 20 hours per week - $25/hr, through until end of 2023. AeroFarms is looking for an impactful, strategic and analytical Sustainability Fellow to analyze our sustainability and impact metrics and co-create our 2024 impact roadmap. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental analytics, benchmarking and metrics with a keen ability for cross-collaboration

What you will do:


  • 4. Provide cross-functional alignment and recommendations for improved impact
  • 1. Gather, assess and analyze benchmarking data of environmental input areas of impact like: energy and water
  • 3. Research, recommend and apply to aligned impact certifications
  • 2. Inform lifecycle assessment and set-up in alignment with SBTIs
  • 5. Create a draft 2024 Impact Benchmarking system and set-up for Scope II
  • 6. Understand and inform on larger national and international CEA and agriculture landscape


What you will bring:


  • 3. Self-starter, ability to work well cross functionally and drive alignment
  • 4. Interest in ESG / agriculture / food sectors
  • 2. Direct experience in environmental benchmarking or road mapping a plus
  • 1. Masters or MBA focusing on environmental sustainability, analytics or benchmarking


Work Schedule


20 hours per week. AeroFarms is HQ'ed in Newark, NJ, applicants preferred in the NJ/NY or VA area to enable onsite visits and in person collaboration with team members. Other locations supported on a case by case basis, with options for remote work in CA, CO, CT, RI, TX, PA, FL, IN, NC, TN. No other US states or international working arrangements can be supported at this time.
