Surgical Technologist - Operating Room - Part Time (0.6), 8 Hr - 11-7 Pm (Every Tuesday, Thursday And Friday)

Salary Range: $44.51 - $50.71

Summary of Duties: The scrub surgical technologist handles the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure. Protects patient safety by following regulations and standards, accounts for all items post-operatively to avoid retained objects and maintains sterile technique during procedure. assist in prepping room for patient care and room turn-over.

Educational Requirements: Graduate of an Accredited Surgical Technology program.

Licensure/Certification Requirements: Surgical Technician Certification preferred. AHA BLS required.

Experience Requirements: Minimum of 2 year recent scrubbing experience in an acute care setting desired.

Special Skills or Abilities: Ability to work cooperatively with physicians and co-workers in a complex fast paced environment. Must posses the emotional stamina to work in a busy, complex and stressful environment . Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English required.
