PAY: $23-$28/HR

CONTRACT: 5 MONTHS (POSSIBILITY TO EXTEND OR CONVERT)

Description:

• Monitor key integrated business planning performance indicators, cost-to-serve performance data, and help coordinate cross-functional work teams to meet high customer-service standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Provide necessary input to supply planner for assigned locations.
• Assist in setting inventory planning metrics targets.
• Maintain data relevant to production scheduling activities including planning calendars and site attainment data.
• Expedite workflow and coordinate changes in schedules.
• Develop gap coverage plans during inventory shortages.
• Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
• Help generate and execute cycle stock and safety stock plans for the assigned product or location, using the approved supply plan inputs.
• Solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
• Create requirements plan and long-term supply plan for assigned product(s) and location(s) as input for the integrated business planning cycle.
• Help coordinate long-term supply chain strategies across networks to address capacity issues and production location decisions in support of business goals.
• Participate in setting master production planning, material requirements planning and production scheduling metrics targets.
• Publish daily production plans for one of three primary turkey facilities.

Qualifications:

• Organized
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• One year of experience in supply chain planning preferred
• Detail orientated
