SupplyPlanner


Summary:TheSupplyPlanneris responsible for developing the Production schedule, at the facility level, to balancesupplyand demand requirements while recognizing and managing all constraints. This role is a key partner with the plant Operations team and the broader organization. This role will collaborate with management at both the site and corporate levels to develop a schedule and resulting inventory plans that meet critical business goals for cost and service. Assists with the development of the monthly Master Plan for the entire company.


Jobs/Duties or Responsibilities

  • · Meet customer fill rate and customer level objectives and inform Customer Service of any issues.
  • Develop a 4-week schedule to establish the sequence of production to meet customer and inventory demands.
  • Works closely with R&D Department to validate and refine bill of material standard costs versus actual usage.
  • Identifies opportunities for optimizing raw, WIP and finished good inventory levels.
  • Point of contact for all scheduling related questions and concerns
  • Drive the analysis of the production line capacity by SKU for each facility.
  • · Perform replenishment tasks to ensure adequate inbound material flow and manage internal warehouse space.
  • Generates short, intermediate, and long-term production plans by facility, by resource, using systems and processes that support the organization’s cost and service goals, managing capacity constraints and reconciling those constraints.
  • Track, reconcile, and report daily/weekly/monthly metrics against established targets, reviewing performance; perform root cause analysis and offer corrective actions.
  • Assist with projects that support inventory reporting and accuracy, allocating materials and movement of orders in shortsupplysituations.
  • · Manages outside storage capacities with selected vendors, considering this space when makingsupplydecisions.
  • Drive reporting and full transparency of production plans by generating reports for management and facility front line personnel.
  • · Schedule transfers of raw materials and components from outside warehouses and vendors to support production. Provide guidance and partnership with purchasing to ensure timely flow of inbound materials.
  • Responsible for managing Work Orders in NetSuite.
  • Adjust schedule and problem-solve as needed based upon unforeseen materials or equipment/capacity issues.
  • Confer with plant leadership team daily as a key member of the plant team.
  • Maintain accuracy of data in systems to facilitate inventory and capacity management, customer demand, and operational metrics.
  • Work cross-functionally with Operations and other departments to resolve capacity challenges and production issues, offering alternative plans and solutions to meet site needs.
  • Able to explain gaps to targets and remediation plans.

Minimum Education and Related Experience Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with a capability to work with and interpret large amounts of data.
  • Experience in food/beverage or consumer packaged goods manufacturing preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills to make quantitative projections/recommendations.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system such as NetSuite, etc.
  • Creates and executes short term goals consistent with long term objectives.
  • Minimum of 5 years ofSupplyPlanning experience; Demand Planning and Replenishment Planning are a plus.
  • Ability to effectively present projects, status, etc.
  • BA/BS inSupplyChain Management, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
  • Extensive Excel spreadsheet analysis skills


Minimum Administrative Skills/Language Requirements

  • Be able to create documents, spreadsheets, graphs, presentations, project schedules.
  • Additional language skills preferred.
  • Must have strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
  • Be able to cross training team within department.
  • Strong understanding of ERP and MRP systems; Netsuite and Demand Caster experience are preferable.
  • Strong analytical experience in MS Office suite of applications
  • Must have excellent written and communication skills.

Minimum Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to perform typical office work including long periods of time in front of computer.
