Role Overview:
The Supply Chain Operations Manager primarily focuses on the overall performance of the supply chain departments servicing the wholesale sales channels. The Supply Chain Operations Manager will be responsible for leading and training the assigned personnel while achieving key metrics for Safety, Service Level, Quality, and Cost Controls. This will be accomplished under the direction of the Sr. Supply Chain Operations Manager and as part of the supply chain management team. This role is highly visible to internal and external departments and demands a high degree of teamwork and collaboration. The Supply Chain Operations Manager is primarily focused on the overall performance of our fulfillment teams meeting daily quantifiable metrics based around accuracy and efficiency. This role reports to the Sr. Supply Chain Operations Manager.
Accountabilities:
- Participate in continuous improvement projects
- Oversee the daily scheduling of assigned fulfillment personnel based on sales volumes.
- Monitor personnel performance, hire, evaluate, coach, train, and support company policy including progressive disciplinary actions as part of the supply chain management team.
- Interface with Sales and Planning teams to identify fulfillment priorities
- Oversee the processing of orders through the accurate use of our ERP SAP and related software platforms including our WMS, Monday.com, ShipStation, ShipBob, etc.
- Communicate and coordinate with all internal and external partners including shipping carriers and suppliers.
- Report out and deliver on key metrics for meeting order turnaround times (Service Level), error-free shipments (Quality), inventory accuracy and material management (Cost Controls), and maintaining an accident-free workplace (Safety).
Skills & Requirements:
- Passion for the Rifle Paper Co. brand
- Minimum of 3-5 years of warehousing and/or fulfillment experience
- Strong cross-functional communication skills required
- Highly organized, self-starter
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not necessarily required
- Experience with SAP, ShipBob, or other ERP or WMS required
- Proven management experience including training and development of teams
- Strong understanding of an ERP system and inventory management
- Strong attention to detail
