Supply Chain Engineer Jobs

Requirements:

· Only Bachelors in Supply Chain, with 1-4 years of experience

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Strong technical process experience

· Candidate should have a valid driver’s license to drive the company car

Key Responsibilities:

· Evaluating existing supply chain processes to identify areas that need optimization.

· Collaborating on supply chain procedures, including inventory management, warehousing, systems integration, and distribution.

· Analyzing customer releases and releasing the Purchase orders to suppliers to keep based on customer demand and maintain in-house inventory levels

· Negotiate with logistics service providers and other chain partners about purchasing raw materials, packaging materials, auxiliary materials, transport, etc.

· Identify process bottlenecks and suggest solutions for process improvements in a timely manner.

· Utilize PLEX ERP systems to set planning parameters by part number to optimize inventory levels and assure availability.

· Optimize inventory with the objectives of increasing inventory turns, reducing inventory investment, and minimizing excess and obsolete material.

· Demonstrates understanding and follows departmental processes in the performance of essential functions including Purchasing, Manufacturing/Lean processes, Order Administration processes

· May participate in planning projects focused on continuous improvement

· Continues tracking of in-transit materials and prepares the daily detail report to get the materials/parts on time

· Demonstrates full proficiency and knowledge of Material Resource Planning (MRP) and Production Resource Planning (PRP) and other planning tools required to perform essential functions of this role

· Communicate across multiple functions & levels regarding business opportunities & risk

· Set timely replenishment models of well finished materials at preferred ship sites. Utilize the MRP for replenishment of all warehouse

· Analyze business processes for risks, lead times, cost price breakdown, volume, customer coverage, etc.

Salary: 50000$ - 60000$
