Supplier Quality Engineer Intern

Precipart is looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer Intern to join our Supplier Quality Engineering team. As a Supplier Quality Intern, you will be instrumental in accurately and effectively supporting the quality process associated with Streamlining qualification of components and assemblies from Suppliers to Customers.

10 Weeks: Monday, September 11, 2023- Friday, December 1, 2023

Hours: 10- 20 hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Track and trend supplier metrics.
• Create guidance material on the completion of First Article Submissions, PPAPs, and Process Qualifications.
• Streamlining qualification of components and assemblies from Suppliers to Customers, involving:
• Other duties as assigned to support the Supplier Quality Engineering team.
• Develop a method of tracking the status of qualification packages.
• Creating/modifying the current excel workbooks to create a mistake proof template and ensure clear and uniform communication of requirements.
• Support preparation of First Article Submissions, PPAPs, and Process Qualifications, testing the above method.
• Interface with Project Management, Operational Excellence, and Digital Solutions to support part qualification approvals.

Skills:

• Great attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Desired Major/Degree: Engineering (Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering preferred)
