Overview:
General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems, a premier provider of ordnance weapons and tactical systems to the U.S. Department of Defense and allied nations, is seeking a Supplier Quality Administrator and Data Analyst to join our Saco Operations team. We are about supporting the mission of the warfighter. Our products can be found with every U.S. Military branch with allies around the world. The Supplier Quality Administrator and Data Analyst is a key role is maintaining Approved Supplier Lists (ASL), managing the schedule and priority of 3rd party supplier quality oversite company, document management and implementation of supplier quality clauses to ensure effective quality requirements are flowed on supplier purchase orders. The role provides critical information to both internal teammates and our external supplier community. High level of computer software skills and data analysis needed to effectively design and implement reports and dashboards and perform training to users for increased team effectiveness.


This is a hybrid position and applicant must reside in the Saco, ME area.

Major Position Responsibilities:
  • Other: Procedure updates, SharePoint & TipQA Portal support, Yearly Access Control List (ACL) Review for TipQA & SharePoint, perform assigned internal audits.
  • ERP System (IFS) and Quality Management System (TipQA) Subject Matter Expert – build knowledge through training courses and experiential knowledge to achieve high competency in using these software platforms. Design custom user reports and dashboards for Supplier Quality, optimize the user interface screens and provide training to Supplier Quality Team for increased efficiency & effectiveness in performing work. Serve as liaison for Supplier Quality during software upgrades.
  • Supplier Quality Functions for assigned supplier(s) if, and as, time permits. Interface w/Suppliers, create Inspection criteria, investigate & resolve issues, collaborate w/ buyers. First article reviews, supplier audits, process/product controls, nonconformance and corrective action reports, continuous improvement plans, training in quality engineering methods.
  • Manage 3rd Party Source for Supplier Oversite Activity (Verify Inc.) - manage supplier records, audit/source inspection needs & scheduling, special process checklist management to align with specification changes (IHS system), lead Verify review meetings, review completed audits, complete launches in Verfiy portal (SPP), track & review Verify invoices. Develop reports and dashboard for tracking performance.
  • Quality Clauses (QC) Management / Implementation - complete new part requests for quality clauses, review part requirements and attach quality clauses to part numbers, review/update QC when needed; revise language/content of quality clauses as needed, maintain master file in ERP system and post to external website.
  • ASL / ASPL Administration - Manage Approved Supplier Lists (ASL, ASPL): Supplier approvals, additions, updates, monitor and process purchase order/requisition hold list items. Develop reports and dashboard for tracking performance.
Basic Qualifications:
Strong computer software experience, data analysis, building reports, dashboards & communication skills

Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Technical, Business, Statistics, Data Science or Math

Experience:
Three years or equivalent knowledge, background
Pay Range (USD): $70,679.07 - $106,018.60 Additional Compensation: Hired applicant may be eligible to participate in the Company’s Gain Sharing Program.
