Supervisor, Utility Billing Jobs

Under general direction, supervises, plans, and organizes customer utility billing, rates, credits and works in parallel with collection activities and operations; oversees the work flow to ensure quality customer services to internal and external customers, implements, corrects billing rates and assures bill presentation of payment/revenue collection accounts accurately for residential and large commercial, industrial and agricultural accounts; coordinates maintenance of billing software and maintains databases, compiles reports, interprets and tests application of codes and; reviews contracts, processes collections, maintains canal water availability and other related accounts; and processes and interprets landowner water authorizations and legal land descriptions. Performs other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business or public administration or related degree and five years of increasingly responsible experience in the integration of utility billing processes with meter reading, customer service, payment/revenue, dunning processes and experience overseeing large accounts.

A valid driver's license issued by the State of California, Department of Motor Vehicles is required.
An official current driving record (obtained within the last six months) from your local State Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) or from official DMV website must accompany job application (no third-party records accepted).
