Summer Internship 2023: Project Management & Communications - Remote

We are looking for an exceptionally talented, creative, and smart Summer Intern to join our team at Segal Benz. The right candidate is a great problem-solver and has a passion for Project Management.

You will assist our team of consultants, writers, designers, art directors and web developers to produce pieces through final production stages. You thrive on taking direction and closing projects in a high quality manner.

Of course, you are highly organized and have incredible organizational skills.

Working a full time schedule for the summer, the Project Management Intern will be an integral member of the practice and will be exposed to assignments that will their enhance their Project Management skills, develop their understanding of the communications consulting environment, and specifically, contribute to strategic employee communications products that delight our clients.

The Role

• Contribute to many projects across several clients simultaneously, so ability to juggle many varying forms of work and projects is a necessity. Able to prioritize and summarize what is important within changing and often challenging scenarios and deliver on time, without inaccuracies or errors
• Well organized, with a workflow that takes into account a collaborative environment where project work sometimes is shared. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment, juggling multiple projects and priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a high level of attention to detail with the ability to incorporate multiple rounds of edits with precision and accuracy
• Participate in brainstorms and contribute to the strategic direction of campaigns
• Be an integral part of the project management team, supporting the production and successful completion on time and on budget for a variety of deliverables
• Ability to produce project schedules and communicate effectively with colleagues to help to keep the team on track to deliver projects
• Mac hardware skills and experience. Software requirements: Microsoft 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Familiarity with Asana is preferred
• 2+ years of educational experience in Project Management or working Project Management experience
