Summer Internship 2023: Medical And Pharma Audits And Informatics - Remote

The Summer Intern in Benefit Audit Solutions will assist with a variety of activities directly supporting clients and health and pharmacy benefits data informatics analytical activities. Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Actively engaging in our nationwide Summer Internship Program with developmental opportunities.
• Supporting ongoing analytical activities regarding medical and pharmacy claims data.
• Assisting with medical and pharmacy claims data and audit activities and periodic reporting.
• Assisting with ad-hoc requests that require data querying and manipulation.

• Knowledge of medical claims systems/coding, actuarial concepts or health benefits is a plus.
• High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products (Excel, Word, & PowerPoint)
• Previous work experience in a professional service environment is desirable but not mandatory.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a time-sensitive environment
• Previous SQL, SAS or programming experience required. Python helpful.
• Strong analytical and mathematical capabilities with creative problem solving ability and a passion for data analytics.
• Minimum two plus years of undergraduate education or undergraduate degree.

The current hourly salary range for this position is $18.00/hour to $28.00/hour.
