SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:
Provides direct clinical treatment to residents as represented in the caseload through:

• Consults with doctors, individuals, and other social services agencies, insurance providers and hospital networks regarding clients, client services and case management.
• Attends administrative staff meetings as required.
• Diagnostic evaluations and screenings
• Individual, group, couple and family therapy
• Participates in interdisciplinary diagnostic treatment and planning meetings.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
• Crisis/emergency assessment and intervention
• Maintain client records and administrative records according to Athena’s policy.
• Treatment planning and assessment
• Attends in-service education, clinical supervision and professionals meetings as required.

EXPERIENCE:
Experience in the area of practice is desirable.

EDUCATION:
Clinician – Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or related field.
