Stanbridge University is seeking a vibrant candidate with excellent customer service experience to be a Student Store Clerk. We are looking for a motivated self-starter who is people-oriented and gets along well within a team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and growing university.

Essential Functions

• Periodically clean retail fixtures to assure professional image of the bookstore.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Assist in office errands, including but not limited supply pick-up, etc.
• Perform routine closing procedure; counting cash drawer, shutting down the computer system and cash registers.
• Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos and emails.
• Prepare displays of merchandise and assist with relocation of stock when needed.
• Sells merchandise to customers and gives information about products and prices.
• Prepare daily and monthly reports for the management level personnel and audits the merchandise products of the bookstores
• Prepare written responses to routine inquiries.
• Assisting in data entry, scanning, filing and organization of materials and file systems.

Qualifications:

• Excellent Customer Service Skills
• Requires excellent organizational, interpersonal and time management skills.
• Strong computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Word and Excel
• Must possess a High School diploma or equivalent.
• $17.00-$19.00/hr
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of office procedures and office equipment

• The incumbent regularly sits and/or stand for long periods, walks short distances on a regular basis
