The Cincinnati Insurance Companies' Information Technology departments are looking for students who seek to gain a meaningful work experience with us for Fall 2023. IT interns assist with maintaining and supporting applications for the corporate portals as a part of our infrastructure, security, auditing, and business analyst teams.

**Internship/Co-op work location: Remote available for non-location critical roles. Location critical roles must have a presence on-site.
- Understanding of front-end/back-end or full-stack development concepts
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C#, SQL, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, XML/XSLT, and object-oriented programming concepts
- Willingness to continually learn new technologies, skills, and improved processes
- Some familiarity with Agile concepts
- Good communication skills with the ability to effectively explain technical concepts to non-technical audience and give professional presentations
- Experience or familiarity with tools such as .NET, JQuery, Angular, MVC, Xamarin, iOS SDK, Android SDK, Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, Eclipse, Android Studio, XCode etc.
- Reliable and service-oriented mindset
- Ability to interact effectively with management and colleagues to prioritize and organize work
- Awareness of current and emerging technology trends
- Ability to research, and understand and author technical documentation, and to utilize available resources to resolve technical problems
- Prior experience in software development through past internships, independent or class projects, and coursework/self-study
- Data Analytics knowledge, metadata management, knowledge in data visualization (Power BI, SAS), SQL, Database Management, MS Excel Analytics
Candidates should have the ability to work in the United States for an unlimited amount of time. Our company is currently not hiring interns for this role if they will need sponsorship in the future.
Requirements:
- Service-minded, team-oriented, driven, and passionate about information technology
- Enrolled as a full-time, undergraduate student at an accredited college/university
- All majors are welcome to apply
- Must be able to work at least 20 hours per week
- Proficient in Microsoft® Office tools and related software
- Collegiate transcripts required with submission of candidate profile (unofficial are acceptable)
- In good academic standing (cumulative GPA: 3.0 or higher preferred)
- Able to communicate effectively at all levels
