Stretch Therapist (Exercise Science/Kinesiology Grad) *Training Provided*

The role of a Flexologist is to deliver the best one on one assisted stretch experience possible! You'll help clients reach their flexibility goals and gain more freedom of movement to perform better at work, at the gym and in life. Our Flexologist Training Program is unique, intensive and an important part of every Flex's journey at StretchLab. Come join our team!

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Encourage, educate and motivate clients throughout stretch sessions
• Handle member concerns when applicable
• Attend monthly Staff meetings and required educational presentations
• Ensure safety of clients in regards to proper stretch techniques and enforce StretchLab policies and safety rule
• Clean and maintain all equipment in order to ensure it is available for use
• Deliver one on one assisted stretch sessions
• Build StretchLab memberships and retain current clientele

Qualifications

• Fantastic communication skills
• Love of boutique fitness environment is a must
• 1+ year of experience working in a fitness/health environment providing hands on training with clients (preferred)
• Professional work ethic, be reliable and adhere to our attendance policies
• Available to go through our Flexologist Training Program, which includes 20 hours of online instruction, 2 days of hands on training and 20 practice hours
• Passion for stretching, mobility and flexibility
• Ability to create a positive environment that welcomes all people
• 20-30 hours/week
• Required background qualifications- LMBT, PTA, Personal Trainer, ATC, Pilates or Yoga Instructor, Exercise Science/Kinesiology degree

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
