Straightens metal plates, weldments, bulkheads, decks, and structural shapes by preheating with a hand torch and then cooling with water. Must have a working knowledge of the size of torch tips to be used in accordance with data charts that provide the thickness, area, temperature, and amount of stress of metal to be heated.

Basic Qualifications

1 year of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Mississippi Scholars Tech Master Certification preferred.
