Position Overview

Our Storeroom Clerk are the ordering genies of our hotel! The Storeroom Clerk is responsible for the administration and organization of the purchasing department. It involves mostly paper work, filing and dealing with the different purchasing for the different departments, assisting the purchasing manager and Director of Purchasing in any way possible.

As a Storeroom Clerk at The Beverly Hills Hotel, your compensation will be $20.66 per hour.

What you'll do

A day in the life of our Storeroom Clerk … it demands high levels of energy in order to keep up. They need consistency even though the days are never alike; and creativity to tackle daily adventures. Listing all of the tasks that our Storeroom Clerk accomplish would be lengthy but the list below is essential to know.

  • Our Storeroom Clerk is responsible for inputting data into the Paradox and RHR systems are the most commonly used tasks, as well as pick-up and distribution of the mail. It is most important to daily log into the computer, the log book the incoming and outgoing requisitions and purchase orders, in order to have an organized tracking system.

  • It is the duty of the clerk to follow up on the various typewriters, copy machines and fax machines, that are under service agreements, and if service is needed, to call upon it at the earliest convenience and make certain that loaners machines are being supplied in case our machines aren’t operational.

  • Process office supply requisitions, if needed, supply with three bids, and transform data into a purchase order. Route purchase orders for proper signatures, and place orders. Follow up to make sure supplies are delivered on time, and that the orders are completed by the deadline. It may be necessary from time to time walk the purchase orders through for emergencies. Answer the phone, and assist the vendors, co-workers, and the department heads, in the most fashionable way.

  • Type manual P.O.’s and log in the system, also process all requisitions for purchase orders such as batteries, first-aide, and more as directed by the Director of Purchasing.
  • It may be required to courier special documents throughout the city of Los Angeles, and or to go off premises for special purchases..Follow up on the office supply within the purchasing office, and place orders on time, for all departments.
