Job Description

TOD'S a premier luxury brand is seeking dynamic, customer service driven, experienced Store Manager for our Bellevue location.


The Store Manager Promotes the company values and a sales culture by motivating and inspiring others to achieve individual and team goals. Manages collection sell-thru goals and sales associate volume goals. Provides leadership by analyzing Week to Date, Month to Date, Year to Date sales and develops action plans to drive top line sales. Manages payroll budgets and controllable expenses to ensure store’s contribution is on target. Ensures the individual and collective skills of the team are utilized effectively, building a strong people first sales culture. Prepares for future growth by identifying on-going hiring needs, actively recruits and hires top talent, maintaining a pool of candidates to share with corporate partners. Effectively manages store operations, ensuring consistent compliance with corporate directives.



Store Manager duties and responsibilities:


• Observe and apply policies and procedures, ensuring that all directives are observed in the store.

• Oversee efficiency of every area of the store

• Ensure excellence in the sales ritual, supervising all customer service and assistance activities

• Ensure impeccable aesthetics in the store (whether open or closed), organizing the store product displays in collaboration with the Visual Department, and requesting any needed technical maintenance.

• Recruit store staff and manage their integration into the team.

• Monitor the performance of each sales assistant and assess their contribution to store revenues by, carry out year-end staff evaluations, implement and monitor staff training programs to enhance product competency, customer service, sales technique, stock management and ensure that all tasks are performed in an efficient and effective manner.

• Adopt and implement sales strategies and marketing plans aimed at increasing revenues in the store. Suggest new initiatives aimed at growing the business.

• Receive periodic sales objectives from the central office and communicate them to staff.

• Set reasonable sales objectives for staff and review them systematically.

• Identify possible areas of improvement to promote achievement of sales objectives.

• Report sales results and customer comments to the relevant central offices

• Ensure that the store has the necessary items from the collection, reporting any out-of-stock items to the Merchandising Department

• Oversee management of warehouse space and ensure availability of the full range of items in the collection. Monitor warehouse spaces dedicated to repairs and products for in-house use

• Supervise store administration, regularly checking sales proceeds and end-of-day register clearing

• Ensure detailed responses to customer problems and complaints, applying specifically tailored solutions

• Take an active role in inventory


QUALIFICATIONS:


1. 4 plus years as a retail store manager and/or multi unit supervisor.

2. Proven ability to manage staff to exceed sales goals while maintaining payroll budgets.

3. Ability to identify top talent, create teams and train/develop/retain highly successful retail professionals

4. Ability to utilize critical thinking skills to identify challenges and action in a timely manner.

5. Ability to allocate time and execute multiple tasks and competing priorities.

6. Ability to effectively communicate, organize and lead.

7. Ability to motivate and influence others thru actions and examples.

8. Ability to achieve results both independently and through others by fostering a spirit of teamwork and cooperation.

9. Ability to develop and execute strategies successfully.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:


1. Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time.

2. Availability to work a weekends, annual inventory, and holiday season.

3. May require occasional overnight travel.
