Car Wash Manager


Summary


Summary: This position is accountable for the following: A clean well running operation, incident report processing, regular scheduled and emergency maintenance and repairs, training new cashiers about car wash packages, sales techniques, equipment resets, and wash limitations, fleet account sales, tracking car wash sales (SADR and DRTL)


Essential Duties And Responsibilities


  • Complete daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance on car wash, drier, vacuums, water softeners, filters & screens, and other related equipment.
  • Cold weather door procedures.
  • Handle incidents and consult with Car Wash Operations Supervisor on approved claims.
  • Car wash equipment repair.
  • Maintain car wash video, intercom, and Code-A-Wash system.
  • Order replacement parts and supplies.
  • Maintain all site lighting.
  • Use fire extinguishers and other safety equipment.
  • Change heat and air conditioning filters on store.
  • Daily cleaning of bay windows, floor, walls, grounds, and vacuum islands.
  • Empty vacuums and clean filters as dictated by use.
  • Solicit car wash fleet accounts.


Non-essential Duties


  • Any other job duties as assigned by supervisors.
  • Train cashiers on wash unit, wash package options, sales techniques, incident report handling, equipment resets, Code-A-Wash ticket printing and resets, replacement wash policies, and explain any current incentives.

Job Specifications (Qualifications)


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Work experience in area of repair and preventive maintenance and troubleshooting; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have ability to work with customers and co-workers.


LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Require ability to read, write, understand, and speak English.


MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Require ability to perform basic math computations at the 12th grade level.


COMPUTER SKILLS: Ability to access and send e-mail.


REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.


Certificates, Licenses, Registrations


  • Current Montana Driver’s License


OTHER SKILLS And ABILITIES


  • Ability to maintain proper attitude, professionalism, and teamwork in areas of customer service and car wash operations.
  • Ability to read and understand repair literature and manuals, safety manuals, electrical schematics and pneumatic drawings.
  • Ability to wear proper work attire and maintain personal hygiene to meet all health standards.
