Stockers/Shippers/Packers Jobs

Position is responsible for storing and moving a variety of materials, parts, or products for the plant operation, specifically, unloading incoming materials, moving to storage area, storing, stocking, and arranging for possible first in, first out use.

Positions start at $17.00 per/hour

Shifts times: (9:30am to 6:30pm) or (8:00am to 5:00pm) or (7:00am to 3:30pm)

These duties and responsibilities are not exhaustive and will be supplemented as necessary.

Essential Functions (Responsibilities):

• Perform other general duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Assure that work meets expected quality standards. Understand CTQ’s.
• Assure that work meets expected quality standards. Understand CTQs.
• Maintain stock records, post receipts and withdrawals.
• Maintain proper housekeeping.
• Replenish inventory to designated levels on a daily basis.
• Provide guidance, training or mentoring for other team members as needed.
• Perform daily inspection of all the equipment and tools prior to use.
• Comply with all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies.
• Use of specialized lifting devices including, forklifts, hoists, and manipulators as required.
• Comply with all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies.
• Verify quantity, product, and count for incoming receipts.
• Perform daily inspection of all the equipment and tools prior to use.
• Maintain proper housekeeping.
• Deliver material in timely manner to and from designated production areas.
• Perform data entry utilizing Mfg system for stocking and receiving of material.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Lift up to 35lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Frequent standing.
• Ability to work overtime.
• Basic math skills.
• Willingness to wear personal protective equipment, for example safety glasses, gloves, and safety shoes.
• Ability to use hand tools, including wrenches, screwdrivers, drills, wire strippers, and other miscellaneous tools.
• 18 years of age or older.
• (Shipper ONLY) Ability to obtain forklift certification.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job.
• Ability to work with various materials and chemicals.
• Successful completion of a background check and drug screen.
• Ability to use calipers and other measuring devices.
• Ability to operate required lifting devices.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering documentation and work instructions.
• Willingness to work in a tobacco-free environment.
• (Shipper ONLY) Computer skills.
