Responsibilities

The Stationary Engineer shall under the direction of the Chief Engineer or the Assistant Chief Engineer operate and maintain all steam electrical refrigeration and the mechanical equipment in the hospital. The Stationary Engineers shall also perform all other duties traditionally performed by the Stationary Engineers in hospitals.

Qualifications

Experience Required:

• 1-2 years of experience with a minimum of 1 year in area of related field (preferred)
• Minimum of 3-5 years combined experience in healthcare industry
• 3+ years experience as a Stationary EngineerHospital experience preferred.

Education Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelors degree in healthcare related field or equivalent professional experience.

Training Required:

• Complete annual safety training. Complete and maintain department specific training.

Special Skills Required:

• Boiler & Auxiliary Equipment Operation & Repairs Emergency Generator Operations plumbing electrical repairs HVAC mechanical equipment medical gases.

Pay Range
$62.89 - $62.89/hour
