  • Full-time permanent opportunity located in Christchurch, with a salary of $104,859 p.a + 5 weeks' annual leave + a suite of benefits


Ko tā mātou mahi - Our Role


We are seeking a Stakeholder Relationship Manager to join our team, who will support sustainable, inclusive and thriving communities through effective community/stakeholder engagement and partnerships. This role will see you working in a fast-paced and challenging environment, engaging with stakeholders and the community.


You will be the face of Kāinga Ora in the community and instrumental in building capacity and capability within the community. You will get to know the communities in this area, closely working with local network and organisations to ensure that the community is well informed and ensuring that community aspirations and bringing about positive change to the community.


Ngā Pūmanawatanga Ōu - What You Will Bring


  • Excellent relationship management skills across a diverse range of stakeholders, coupled with broad and extensive stakeholder and community engagement experience
  • Demonstrated experience in dealing with conflict and negotiating
  • A relevant tertiary qualification or extensive experience. A relevant professional certification, such as IAP2, would be advantageous
  • Previous experience engaging with Maori communities, preferable but not essential
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, with a hands on approach
  • Demonstrated ability to confidently build, maintain and engage with local communities
