Staff Accountant Jobs

This role:Under the general direction of our Controller, you will be a key member of our collaborative finance team and play a crucial role in providing timely, accurate, and relevant financial information to all levels of our operations and engineering departments. We're seeking a candidate with 1-3 years of experience in a variety of general accounting tasks, including balance sheet reconciliations, use tax filings, and month-end journal entries.We are looking for someone that has a passion for driving efficiency and accuracy with new technology.We value work-life balance and will consider a hybrid schedule that combines remote and in-office work.

You will:

·Work independently to manage prepaid expenses, asset/depreciation schedules, and labor analysis

·Unlock the full potential of Excel learning with advanced add-ins

·Be part of our team exploring new systems that will optimize our current operational ERP process

·Support RedViking strategic planning and process improvement initiatives

·Assist with AP/AR and project cost accounting and analysis as needed

Qualifications:

·Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field

·1-3 years of general accounting experience

·Excellent understanding of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

·ERP skills, as well as intermediate proficiency with MS Excel

·Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·Ability to work independently and in a team environment, set priorities, and manage time

·Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a mind for managing and analyzing data

·Visa sponsorship is not available for this position due to the nature of the work performed in our facility and ITAR requirements
