You are a key contributor to Cramer’s Finance team, accountable for receivables and lead the month end close. You are a self-starter and have a strict attention to detail. You have robust analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Under the supervision of the Vice President of Finance, the ideal candidate is eager to put their thumbprint of the department and join a fast-paced, high-energy team. This role is based in-person in Norwood, MA.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist our internal team through an ERP implementation
  • Prepare customer billings, process receivable activity and follow-up on past due accounts
  • Provide operating expense analysis
  • Lead the Month-End closing process including accruals, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Oversee the Junior Staff Accountant as needed
  • Weekly cash flow reporting
  • Ad hoc reporting and projects
  • Monthly Sales Tax filing
Requirements
  • Ability to multitask and effectively manage ever-changing priorities
  • Deep problem-solving, judgement, technical and analytical skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in business/a related field and/or 2-4 years of project and GL accounting experience
  • Excellent GAAP knowledge
  • Strong understanding of receivables management
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
