Job Responsibilities:

We are looking for anSRE/DevOpsEngineer to provide strategic support and executeeCommerce Retail applications, infrastructure, security, continuous integration, deployment, and IT operations practices, scaling and metrics, as well as running day-to-day operations of production and development infrastructure for a cloud based commerce /enterprise platform.

You’ll work closely with the Development and QA teams to provide continuous improvement of existing features and rollout of new services, ensuring high availability of our platform.

You’re comfortable with infrastructure and configuration, but also happy to roll up your sleeves, fix code, write tests, debug, and ship features.

• Onsite/Offshore coordination
• Excellent communication skills; demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences; own a collaborative, partnership mentality.
• 3+ years (Senior Role) of experience "doing"DevOpsArchitecture, including working at large scale with real, highly concurrent, user traffic environments.
• Provide technical leadership, project guidance, and business development in various platform / enterprise technology areas;
• Job Qualifications:
• Provide strategic support and managing Microservices for Retail web applications on AWS platform .
• Expert in Linux Operating System (Redhat, Amazon Linux, etc)
• Define common business and development processes, platform and tools usage for solutions and delivery.
• Perform analysis best practices and emerging concepts inDevOps, Infrastructure Automation, and Enterprise Security;
• Extensive experience with platform/configuration automation tools(Kubernetes/ Jenkins/OpenStack/Puppet/Ansible/Chef)
• Experience Continuous Delivery andDevOpsstrategy and roadmap.
• BS/MS (MS preferred) in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• Advise business and technology delivery leadership on how to translate the client’s infrastructure and automation business requirements into executable technology solutions;
• Create technical documentation;
• Own and lead initiatives to define, design, and implementSRE/DevOpssolutions which includes reference architectures, estimates, and costing;
• Act as a subject matter expert onSRE/DevOpsbest practices with Cloud Formation, Auto Scaling Groups, Build tools, Monitoring and Configuration Management.
• Acts as a technical liaison between clients, service engineering teams and support;
• Perform profiling, troubleshooting of existing solutions and improving performance of the systems under coverage;
• Participation in customer’s workshops and provide presentations of the proposed solution;
• Review and audit of existing solution, design and system architecture;

The most qualified candidate will have experience working with the following technologies:

• Own automation of the infrastructure platform and drive the development of new features for our cloud platform.
• Common Unix Systems Services (NFS, NTP, Apache, nginx)
• Experience with managing production environments on AWS or another cloud PaaS layer for enterprise systems and revenue bringing platforms (Ecommerce, Mobile and PoS)
• REST API s using XML and JSON
• Scripting (Ruby, Perl, Python, Bash, Awk, PHP)
• Familiar with high availability strategies (haproxy, Global Traffic Management / Multiple Datacenters, GeoDNS, failable architecture)
• Experience in Linux, Objective C, Android and Java.
• Custom Alerts (Akamai, NetApp, Etc)
• Elastic Cloud / Virtualization (SoftLayer,EC2, Rackspace Cloud, Hypervisor, VDI)
• Caching strategy (CDN, Varnish, MemCached, Redis)
• Performance testing, analysis, tuning and improvements (Sum Logic, Splunk, NewRelic, Dynatrace, AppDynamics,Etc)
• Build Automation (Jenkins)
• Single Sign On Technologies (LDAP, SSL/TLS, OpenDirectory)
• Knowledge of latest emerging technologies, architectures, and trends
• Experience supporting web applications (JavaScript & Java)
• Systems automation and provisioning frameworks (Chef, Puppet, etc)
• Package management workflows (Aptitude/dpkg, Yum/RPM)
• Monitoring systems and frameworks (Nagios, ELK, Graphite)
• Agile Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) support
• Security frameworks (IPTables, Nessus, nmap)
• Large Scale Databases (MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, HBase, Cassandra, Hadoop, Etc)
