Job Description
Primary Responsibilities


The Senior Scientist is a source of scientific and technical medical imaging expertise for Clario customers and internal departments and personnel.
  • Remain abreast of new developments in medical imaging
  • Evaluation of the results
  • Imaging protocol design and validation of measurement techniques and results
  • Provides guidance to Clario clients and within in the design and execution of imaging clinical trials, including
  • Preparation of Statements of Work and cost estimates
  • Enhance Clario reputation for scientific excellence by participating in conferences and contributing to the scientific literature.
  • Site technical support
  • Assist in the identification and protection of intellectual property
  • Establishing image quality criteria
  • Evaluation of sites
  • Plan and execute imaging research.
  • Training of external and personnel
  • Preparation of Manuals, training materials and other study documents
  • Assisting in the development of quality control, reading, and data transfer systems


Secondary Responsibilities


Maintains Quality Service and Departmental Standards by


  • Reading, understanding and adhering to organizational Standard Operating Procedures (“SOP”)
  • Assisting in establishing and enforcing departmental standards


Contributes to team effort by


  • Exploring new opportunities to add value to organization and departmental processes
  • Helping others to achieve results
  • Working with internal staff to resolve issues
  • Performing other duties as assigned


Maintains Technical and Industry Knowledge by


  • Attending and participating in applicable company-sponsored training


Qualifications


Education:


Ph.D in Science or Engineering


Experience


10 years postdoctoral in medical imaging


Working Conditions


Travel: 0-15%


Lifting: 0-10lbs


Other: Computer work for long periods of time
