Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with other members of the Team on the design and implementation of optimal data design to support a Tableau reporting system
  • Tests and validates solutions
  • Establish standard methodologies for data assessment and interpretation across multiple dashboards to ensure consistent information representation
  • Develops reports and complex dashboards and data visualizations using Tableau
  • Manages work, timelines, and sets stakeholder expectations
  • Connects Tableau data visualization objects to external data sources, including the testing and validation of the Tableau object’s ability to connect

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience with requirements gathering - working with customers to determine analytical needs and carrying those needs through the development of data-driven tools to facilitate the requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in Tableau Dashboard Development
  • Expertise in visually representing complex databases to develop relevant charts, graphs & tabular data
  • 4+ years of experience acquiring data from multiple data sources for use by Tableau data visualization
  • Experience working with various data sources to include Relational Databases (e.g. MS SQL Server, Oracle, DB2)
  • 2+ years of Alteryx experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven solid communication skills and ability to articulate complex solutions well
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects independently
  • 2+ years of Alteryx experience
  • Tableau certification
  • Knowledge of Tableau optimization and tuning
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts
  • Experience with myDataStudio
  • Hands-on experience with SQL Server development
