Mobile apps are the focal point of our interactions with customers. We start our customer’s journey with our app, even before they have purchased one of our vehicles, and even when they are far away from their car.
Mobile apps for connected vehicles present additional challenges due to the complexity of the cloud systems, the variety of connectivity, and the regulatory requirements specific to the automobile industry.
Be part of this specialized and challenging mission as an Android (or) iOS developer. Take part in developing our exciting iOS and Android Mobile Applications, understanding requirements and architecture, developing, and optimizing code for performance, stability, and maintainability; collaborate with a cross-functional teams of application/UI software engineers and QA/Validation; solve complex technical problems using industry best practices while adhering to security policies.
Use agile methodologies and Test-Driven Development (TDD) to realize the technical solution with product owners and your scrum team to identify minimal viable product and support user stories definition and readiness.
The role can be remote or hybrid from the Detroit Metro area (Michigan). You will join the Development team under our Mobile Development Lead within the Channels organization.
The mission includes the following activities:
Closely work within your scrum team (Product Owner, Scrum master, UX and validation) to create the code for our mobile apps, utilizing defined Architecture and development tools
all common processes such as code reviews, ticket management and workflow, prioritization, utilizing common tools
Write and execute unit tests, verify, and guarantee code coverage.
Investigate non-functional improvements in the code
Be proactive in scrum ceremonies such as daily meetings, demos, sprint planning and backlog refinement
Stay tuned with mobile market evolutionary roadmap in order to maintain best in class solution for Stellantis customers
