Global Operations at Lam Research has embarked on a business transformation journey to create next-generation business processes and solutions to significantly increase business efficiency and speed. The Sr. Mgr, Logistics Transformation positionis a unique opportunity to lead the transformation to enable future business growth at an unprecedented level.
Job Responsibilities
  • Enable business transformation by re-engineering logistics business processes to ensure they meet the Global Operation’s strategic objectives and goals
  • Lead/support changes within global logistics to ensure the effective adoption of the re-engineered processes and systems by the end-user community
  • Implement and execute the adoption of industry-standards and best practices to enable scalability and significant business growth in the global logistics network
  • Help to define problem statements, execute visions and strategies, identify success criteria, and drive accountability across the organization
  • Solve complex problems by providing thought leadership and influencing skills
  • Seamlessly collaborate and work across multiple, global warehouse and transportation teams (internal and external) to implement the solutions
  • Measure transformation results to ensure adherence to the goals. Take appropriate corrective actions or continuous improvement for any deviation
Minimum Qualifications
  • Ability to execute organizational change by driving partnerships and alignment across the organizations
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Operational research, supply chain, or related field. MBA or master’s preferred but not required.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders across a global organization
  • Deep subject matter expertise in global logistics operations with emphasis on warehouse and transportation management utilizing industry-leading analytics and operational metrics
  • 10 years of experience in global operations, strong knowledge of operational processes, data, tools, and improvement initiatives including experience in business process reengineering in leading/fast-growth companies
  • Experience in projects with Lean/Six Sigma and problem-solving methodology
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to analyze and interpret large data sets for decision support
  • Able to work with minimal direct guidance or direction
  • Understanding of best practices in the industry and application to real life
  • WFE or discrete manufacturing industry experience with ETO/CTO/MTO business model in high-volume manufacturing
  • Knowledge of the systems (e.g., SAP ERP/IBP, Kinaxis, Informatica MDM, etc.,) implementation and project life cycles
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and ambiguous environment
