Job Description
In this position you will join our company wide system engineering and IT team to provide excellent project support for all of our IT and infrastructure systems programs and initiatives. You will be a significant part of a small and highly skilled team within the broader organization. You will be responsible for providing project support to a fast-paced media and broadcast environment across multiple teams. You will report directly to the CTO. You will be the "go-to" person for all of the programs and more detailed projects as they pertain to the Infrastructure group. Your communication skills and ability to approach problems in a holistic way will be vital to your success in this position. You will be focused on broadcast and production centric Infrastructure projects as well as Data Center Infrastructure upgrades, deployments and client-related projects and integrations. You must be able to step back to create the bigger picture through detailed analysis. Your technical knowledge will enable you to identify potential roadblocks and remove them in order to guarantee a smooth execution. Your analytical thinking as well as interpersonal skills will enable you to build bridges between the Infrastructure team and other teams within LTN. This role is part of LTN's Infrastructure engineering team and plays a key role in providing management of projects, larger programs consisting of multiple projects, and reporting on their status as well as communication to business of infrastructure team's initiatives and engagements. The ideal candidate is curious, with a deep interest in willing to learn and grow. They also possess a very strong work ethic, have poise and confidence in presenting to large groups regardless of the audience makeup. Your Role and Responsibilities: Lead and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of technical programs related to our customers projects as well as internal expansion programs, ensuring successful delivery within budget and timeline constraints. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, product, development, production, managed solutions, legal, marketing and other business stakeholders, to define program scope, objectives, and requirements. Develop and maintain program plans, schedules, and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with business goals and strategic initiatives. Provide technical guidance and expertise in networking, IT, and infrastructure to support the design, development, and implementation of broadcast transmission systems and solutions. Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential program risks and issues, ensuring minimal impact on project deliverables. Monitor program performance, track key milestones, and report progress to senior management, highlighting any deviations from the planned schedule or budget. Identify and resolve program dependencies, conflicts, and bottlenecks, coordinating with relevant teams and stakeholders to maintain program momentum. Foster effective communication and collaboration among team members, ensuring clear understanding of roles, responsibilities, and expectations. Manage vendor relationships, including contract negotiations and performance evaluations, to ensure optimal delivery of services and solutions. Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in networking, IT, and infrastructure technologies, applying relevant knowledge to enhance program outcomes. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to optimize processes, enhance efficiency, and streamline workflows within the Networking, IT, and infrastructure division. Adhere to company policies, standards, and best practices related to program management, security, and compliance in the broadcast transmission domain. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence, promoting a positive work environment that encourages high performance and employee satisfaction. Work with engineering and product teams to build project schedules, roadmaps and reporting Coordinate with engineering team to perform research on behalf of product team to inform development of your products and features Align key stakeholders and manage projects through milestones to completion on schedule and in budget.  Communicate and present program plans and status with management. Drive technical projects from requirements through launch, including managing complex project schedules, removing roadblocks, and keeping processes running smoothly.  Partner with Software and Hardware Engineering to design technical solutions across feature areas. You'll also identify risks and propose data-based mitigations. Experience/Required Skills Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale technical programs in the broadcasting or media industry, specifically related to broadcast transmission. Extensive experience in networking, IT, and infrastructure projects, including design, implementation, and operations of broadcast transmission systems and technologies. Strong background in program and project management, with a focus on delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives within budget, scope, and schedule with the ability to define project scope, establish objectives, create detailed plans, and manage resources effectively. Demonstrated experience in collaborating with media companies and understanding their unique requirements, workflows, and challenges. Experience in working with broadcast equipment vendors, service providers, and third-party contractors to ensure seamless delivery of solutions and services. Solid understanding of the broadcast industry including: Knowledge of video encoding, streaming protocols, and broadcast-specific hardware and software. Playout systems and associated business systems Transmission / Distribution methodologies and current industry advancements Media / Broadcast operations and engineering principles and workflows Proficiency in risk management, including identifying potential risks, developing mitigation strategies, and proactively managing issues that may impact program success. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, senior executives, and external partners. Strong leadership capabilities, including the ability to inspire and motivate teams, resolve conflicts, and drive consensus in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes, make data-driven decisions, and develop innovative solutions to complex technical challenges. Proficient in project management methodologies and tools, such as Agile, Scrum, and project management software, to facilitate efficient program execution and tracking.
