What will be your attributions at #Luby ?

We are seeking a Front-End Developer to join our team. This role requires an innovative and motivated leader who can develop and deliver reactive web interfaces for our market leading product. This role will be part of our engineering team in an Agile environment to efficiently create, design, implement, and test solutions for our clients/projects.

The successful candidate will have experience conducting the following tasks in a fast-paced small team environment:

• Translate mockups into visually appealing, professional-looking applications with a high standard for coding best practices
• Front-End development using current, applicable technologies such as React and GraphQL
• Help build and lead an efficient front-end development team comprised of local, remote, and contract developers
• Creates an appropriate level of documentation for coding implementations such that other team members can easily understand what was built or needs to be built
• Design, develop, recommend, and get buy-in for coding standards and best practices to follow for any given project.
• Reviews developer implementations and provides feedback during the implementation of the UX/UI designs
• Identify, recommend, and integrate common open-source plugin libraries that can be used to meet requirements when appropriate
• Mentor/train team members in UI development best practices and languages
• Develop clean and elegant code (including unit test cases) with a high attention to detail

Requisitos e qualificações

Position's Requirements:

• Detail orientation and strong follow-through on personal and team tasks
• Experience leading a team (including remote developers) of front-end developers
• Must be a self-motivated, creative problem-solver with strong attention to detail
• 4+ years of experience in front-end development using React, Javascript, HTML, and CSS.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Demonstrated experience with Agile, TDD, continuous integration, continuous deployment, configuration management, and unit testing
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Development of multiple production enterprise applications using React (or similar framework) including at least 1 greenfield implementation
• 3+ years of development experience with GraphQL
• Aptitude and desire to learn, apply, and espouse new technical concepts

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with Progressive Web Apps (PWA) and Cordova/Ionic
• 2+ years of experience with Swift
• 5+ years of experience in front-end development
• 5+ years of experience with React
• Familiarity with hospitality industry, workflow/task management systems, and search engine optimization
• Experience with start-ups or small companies
• Development experience with GraphQL
• Development experience with websockets or other messaging systems
• Development experience with Kubernetes and/or Docker
