Sr. Director, People and Culture

Salary: $110,000 - $120,000


You bring:

- 5+ years of progressive human resources experience with proficiency in employee/labor relations including collective bargaining, recruitment, compensation, benefits, performance management and leadership/management development.

- 3+ years’ experience identifying, implementing, and addressing racial and/or ethnic disparities and barriers.

- Experience in education preferred

- High level of emotional intelligence with outstanding people leadership skills with a track record of action.

- Ability to advise senior leadership team on HR policy, procedure, best practices and compliance

- Intentional interest in working for a highly reputable non-profit


Role: The Senior Director of People & Culture ensures the organizations people and culture needs are met through the effective management and execution of human resources programs, equity policy implementation, supporting staff, training, and development, which by doing ensures the achievement of its mission, vision, and goals. The Sr. Director, People & Culture will provide strategic support to the leadership team to foster an inclusive, professional culture in which all employees embrace the organization’s core values. This role is charged with leading the People & Culture Team in its work enhancing the organizations overall effectiveness by serving as internal consultants and coaches to all employees while also mitigating risk. As the Sr. Director, People and Culture you will report to the CFO. The ideal candidate is a proven leader, hardworking, and has strong interpersonal skills.
