Our DevOps Engineer is accountable for bringing automation and resilience to the process of building, maintaining and supporting our platforms. Each team here depends on Engineering to manage an essential portion of their customer experience. We’re building highly-dependable relationships that allow us to succeed. Our DevOps Engineers are a foundation to our success and your skills are paramount to ensuring we solve pain points for our business.

We are maintaining a level of continuous deployment and delivery that requires a deep understanding of scalable, resilient and modern cloud infrastructure techniques. This role is perfect for a self-motivated human who can balance creativity and structure that scale our SaaS platform to the next level.

Our tech stack: AWS Cloud, Atlassian, Docker, Lambda, Laravel, Linux, MySQL, Node.js, PHP7, SQS, Vue.js, Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes

Responsibilities:

• Oversee automated alerting and monitoring.
• Design, build and maintain new and existing platform components to support our multi-tenant SaaS application.
• Manage and maintain data pipelines and high-volume data storage solutions.

Your experience:

• You’ve implemented automated alerting and monitoring to improve system insight. Created and scaled an effective change management process.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience building and maintaining large scale distributed infrastructure and automating highly available and resilient systems.
• Have a tried-and-true method for receiving requests from stakeholders, prioritizing them and managing expectations.
• Experience building on Amazon Web Services.
• Participated in effective security and networking processes on previous teams and have opinions about how to create a quality-driven development process.
• Worked in environments with continuous integration and deployment while scaling operational processes.
• Experience with containerization and scaling containerized infrastructure, including Kubernetes.
