Gains insight into key business problems and deliverables by applying statistical analysis techniques to examine structured and unstructured data from multiple disparate sources. With moderate direction, creates solutions from initial concept to production. Communicates results to a broad range of audiences. Effectively uses current and emerging technologies to evaluate trends and develop actionable insights and recommendations to management, via understanding of the business model and the information available for analysis. Typically uses data, statistical and quantitative analysis, limited modeling, and fact-based management to drive decision making. Mentors less senior staff. Works in cross functional projects and programs. Routinely presents to management.

Additional Information

• Consult with partners to develop metrics and continuous solutions that measure key inputs, outputs, and productivity of business operations
• Promote the data centric culture through delivering data analytics related training
• Provide ongoing analytics consulting, knowledge sharing, and coaching to internal audit team members and junior data analysts
• Collaborate with data analytics teams across the enterprise to leverage vast data sets, analytic tools, and other resources to advance the quality and timeliness of analysis
• Generate insightful analysis, reporting, and data visualizations to answer critical business questions, proactively identify notable trends, and communicate business performance
• Apply expertise in data mining and modeling by leveraging multiple data sources to uncover unique insights, auditable risks, identify key performance indicators, and build repeatable models
• Support the Internal Audit Department with maintenance of the internal data models, metrics and reports

Skills Considered a Plus

• Programing skills in SQL, and/or Python
• Audit work experience is considered a plus
• Familiar with statistical knowledge (Outlier detection with Standard Deviation, Linear Regression, Clustering Analysis, etc.)
• Advanced Power BI skills (Visualization development, Dataflow, DAX, etc.)
• Knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL Server, and/or Azure Blob Storage
• Knowledge of Power Platform – Microsoft Power Automate, Microsoft Power Apps, and Microsoft Forms
• Strong communication skills and presentation skills

Domicile Location:

• Position will be hybrid in Collierville, TN. (Suburb of Memphis, TN.)
• Due to collaborative nature of the role, there is a strong desire to have the selected candidate in Collierville, TN. This location offers a hybrid work environment that supports in-person collaboration through onsite Team Days but allows team members flexibility to primarily work from home the rest of the time.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, engineering, operations research, economics or Finance. Five (5) years work experience in measurement and analysis,quantitative business problem solving, operations analysis,marketing analysis, simulation development and/or predictive analytics. Proficient in analytics software and applications. Good interpersonal skills. Good written and oral communication skills.
